Our Philosophy

Institutionem  Mentis  Spiritus  Corpus

At the senior high level, all students are required to do 8 hours a week of practical physical work at one of the school's campus services or industries. This work program is an integral part of the school curriculum. Saniku strives to instill the value of work and develop strong work ethics in each of our students and believes that students need to be taught that life means earnest work and responsibility.

It has been demonstrated that this work experience not only invigorates the physical powers but also tends to help students to do better academically. It also creates mutual trust and understanding, and strengthens relationships between students and teachers, as the faculty work alongside the students.

All students also take an active part in club activities. The clubs presently offered are the, Marionette Club, Basketball Club, Baseball Club, Softball Club, Volleyball Club, Soccer Club, Tennis Club, and the Badminton Club.

Dormitory Education

The dormitory at Hiroshima Saniku Gakuin doesn't only function as a boarding facility, it plays an integral part of the school's philosophy of education. Its aim is to foster rich human relationships, teach students to live together in harmony, and encourage them to become independent.
